RIP Ray Manzarek

RIP Ray Manzarek. My uncle turned me on to the Doors when I was just a young kid and I've been a fan ever since. All the legends are passing too quickly.

Current project in the H8 Machine Garage. This started out as a father/son project but seems to be more of a solo project for me now. It's a West Coast Choppers Bicycle.  I picked up two and want to redo them for my boys.

RIP English Don

Some of you may remember English Don if you read Iron Horse Magazine in the 90's. His Babylon Taxi is still one of my favorite bikes of all time. RIP

RIP Dean Jefferies

Just read that Dean Jefferies passed away. He was a legendary car customizer who built the Monkee Mobile. RIP

XL350

This is one of the projects in the H8 Machine Garage. My 1975 XL350. When I got it, it had the full street trim. Lights, turn signals, etc. Over the last winter I turned it into a full on dirt machine. I eliminated most of the wiring, all the lights, eliminated the airbox and replaced with an aftermarket UNI filter. I started it for the first time today and rode around the neighborhood. Needs a little carb adjustment and probably re-jetted due to the new air filter. Ran pretty good though and just about ready to hit the trails. Hopefully going to do a few more of these all dirt conversions if I can find some good candidates.
